Did you work for J&J or one of its subsidiaries, and purchase prescription drugs through its health plans?

As reported by Reuters, a class action lawsuit has been filed against Johnson & Johnson for allegedly mismanaging its prescription drug program in its employees’ health plans and allowing its employees to be overcharged for prescription drugs.

The lawsuit alleges that Johnson & Johnson breached its fiduciary duty to monitor and control costs for prescription drugs through its employees’ health plan, and allowed employees to be charged inflated prices for prescription drugs. The lawsuit alleges that in some cases, the markup for prescription drugs was as much as 10,000%.
