Tammy Mangan brings to Cohen Milstein executive level experience driving strategy and directing business development, marketing and communications initiatives, as well as building high performance, data-driven teams.
Prior to joining the firm, Tammy served as the vice president of marketing for a global consulting firm where she led strategic marketing and communications initiatives and a bi-coastal team of marketing and sales support professionals. She was responsible for developing and directing all aspects of strategy for revenue generating marketing programs from ideation to execution. Prior, she served as chief marketing officer at a law firm in New York City where she is credited with initiating practice group strategic planning, the roll out of a cloud-based sales pipeline software platform and launching the firm’s Cannabis Law Group. Tammy also played a leadership role in branding one of the largest intellectual property firms in the United States. There she built the marketing, communications and business development programs and infrastructure, and launched both the Cleantech and Nanotech Groups.
Known as an innovator, Tammy drove the creative process for an animated short aimed at recruits in a highly competitive hiring environment, developed an award-winning business development training program for attorneys, and led her teams to win numerous awards from the Legal Marketing Association, including top honors in the practice development and website categories. She is an accomplished author and speaker, and served as co-executive editor of Strategies, the Journal of Legal Marketing.
