Jennifer Frieden is an experienced, customer-service focused human resources professional. She is committed to creating an environment in which everyone comfortably thrives. With over twenty years of experience, Jenni is adept at understanding complex business landscapes, analyzing challenges, and developing lasting solutions to reduce risk, drive operational excellence, and positively impact the organization.
At Cohen Milstein, Jenni leads a team that is responsible for recruiting, hiring and onboarding, employee benefits, evaluations, engagement and events, employee relations, legal compliance, policy design and development, and HR systems and processes.
Before joining the firm, Jenni was the director of human resources for a human services nonprofit with more than 300 employees, where she was responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, talent development, compensation, compliance, HR systems and data, and workplace relations. There she was the co-chair of a cross-agency team tasked with creating, implementing, and updating policies and resources to support employees during COVID and moving the organization to a long-term hybrid operating structure. Prior to that, Jenni led HR teams at other law and professional services firms.
Jenni has earned professional credentials including Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate. In addition to working, Jenni enjoys time with her family and dogs, reading, taking long walks, and traveling.
